Lucia Jurkowksi, LMT
Lucia Jurkowski, creator of The Ritual Room in Ocala, Florida, is a New York City native whose journey into holistic healing began in 2011. After experiencing the benefits of bodywork, herbs, and intentional practices in her own life, she developed a passion for helping others feel more supported and connected within their bodies.
Becoming a Reiki practitioner in 2012 opened the door to other forms of bodywork and eventually led Lucia to become a licensed massage therapist in 2016. Over the past decade, she has worked alongside chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other holistic practitioners while continuing to deepen her knowledge of massage, energy work, and whole-person care.
Lucia’s approach is intuitive, fully customized, and trauma-informed. Rather than following the same routine for every person, she considers what your body and nervous system need that day. Sessions may begin with slower, grounding work that allows the body to settle before moving into deeper or more focused techniques.
Clear communication, consent, boundaries, and client autonomy are woven into every session. You are always encouraged to speak up, ask questions, change your mind, or request adjustments so that you can feel comfortable, informed, and in control of your experience.
As The Ritual Room continues to unfold, Lucia plans to begin acupuncture school in May 2027. Massage is not going anywhere. This next chapter will allow her to deepen her understanding of the body and continue bringing thoughtful, individualized care into her work.
In her spare time, Lucia enjoys dancing, caring for her houseplants, soaking up the sun, and reminding you to drink water.
About The Ritual Room
Ritual has always been at the heart of Lucia’s journey. In 2021, she published a guided journal titled The Lucid Habits Ritual, which began as a personal journey of prioritizing wellness. By focusing on her habits in a authentic, compassionate way, she discovered that true transformation is not about rigid discipline, it’s about ritualizing your wellness.
That same philosophy now lives within her massage practice. Through holistic bodywork, Lucia weaves presence, grounding, and intention into every session, offering clients an opportunity to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
Coming from a family of dream workers, Lucia knew the name of her practice before it ever came to be, The Ritual Room appeared to her in a dream, affirming the sacred, restorative space she hoped to create.
An Intentional Space
The Ritual Room is designed as a space for nervous system regulation and energetic balance. Every detail is intentional: organic products that honor the body, a heart chakra theme that centers compassion and healing, and a soothing palette of colors chosen to calm the mind and uplift the spirit.
From the moment you enter, you’re invited to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm. The space is more than a massage room, it’s a container for restoration, reflection, and ritual.
